Fast-track Your South Korea Visa Application via the ‘Express’ Service
Need to get a Korean visa in the shortest time possible? Apply for the South Korea Express Visa service.
The South Korea Express Visa service shortens the processing time of application to two (2) business days.
Those who are interested to apply must submit an accomplished Express Visa Processing Application form along with the standard set of requirements.
This expedited option is only available to those who will get a South Korea temporary visitor’s visa, i.e. tourist or business visa.
The South Korea Express Visa service was implemented by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of the Philippines on November 2018.

UPDATE: March 25, 2019
Effective April 1, 2019, a new processing time for South Korea visa applications will be observed, as announced by the Embassy of Korea in the Philippines here.
Those who will apply for a Korean tourist or business visa (temporary visitor’s visa) may expect a longer processing time of seven (7) business days, from previous three (3) working days for frequent travelers and five (5) working days for first-time travelers. This is due to the increasing number of applications received by the Embassy.
Korea visa applicants are advised to observe the new standard application processing time to avoid inconvenience.

South Korea Express Visa
If you need to get a South Korea tourist or business visa in the shortest time possible, you may apply for the Express Visa service, which the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines has made available on November 12, 2018. Those who will apply for this rush option will have their Korean visa applications processed within two (2) working days (vs. the standard processing time of seven (7) business days for both frequent and first-time travelers, which takes effect on April 1, 2019). Expect to pay an additional fee of ₱1,000 (or $20) for the expedited processing.
How to Apply for the South Korea Express Visa
If you’re in a rush, simply follow these steps to get your Korean visa application fast-tracked:
Prepare the standard set of requirements.
Download and accomplish the Application Form for Express Visa Processing.
Note that this is different from the South Korea visa application form from #1.

Include this form in your set of requirements. The Express Visa Application Form should be submitted at the time of visa application.
Submit all the paperwork to your chosen designated travel agency.

Applicants based in Cebu may do a walk-in application, though the Embassy did not make clear if the Consulate has the Express Visa option.
Make sure to hand in your payment of ₱1,000 (or $20) for the Express Visa service. (This is on top of the payment for the travel agency.)
Philippine passport holders who intend to stay in Korea for 60-90 days must also prepare ₱2,000 for the Korean visa fee. However, if you’ll travel to Korea for 59 days or less, you will not have to pay any visa fees. (Yep, it’s free!)

The South Express Visa service is not applicable for applicants of spouse visa, work visa, study visa, etc.
Processing time for the South Korea Express Visa is within two (2) working days excluding the date of application.
The South Korea Express Visa fee of ₱1,000 (or $20) is non-refundable.
Applying for the expedited visa option does not guarantee the approval of the visa.
For walk-in applicants in Cebu only: requirements should be submitted at the allotted window time for submission, which is Monday-Friday at 8:30-11am. Releasing of visa will be from 1:30-4pm only. Find the address of the Consulate in Cebu here.
