N Seoul Tower

Standing on top of Namsan (also referred to as Nam Mountain or 南山), N Seoul Tower is an attraction in Korea that you definitely can’t miss (and we mean it both ways!). It’s an iconic fixture in Seoul, one that looks spectacular from up close and even from afar. N Seoul Tower was built in 1969 and primarily serves as a radio transmission tower for broadcast companies like KBS, MBC, and SBS TV. This structure beams magnificently at night and enables 48% of the national population to tune in to their favorite programs, as noted on its official website here.

The N Seoul Tower area was opened to the public in 1980 and has since become a popular go-to spot for locals and a must-visit attraction for foreigners traveling to Korea. Not only does it offer a 360° view of Seoul via its observatory, it also houses commercial establishments that’s enjoyed by many. To date, here are some of the facilities, restaurants, and stores that you’ll find in N Seoul Tower:

TOWER 7/F: N.Grill French Restaurant

Inside n.Grill or 엔그릴. Image credit: Korea Tourism Organization

N.Grill is a revolving French restaurant in Seoul that is located at the topmost floor of N Seoul Tower. It is an upscale offering of Michelin-starred chef Duncan Robertson. The place is known for its delectable European dishes with Korean influences, such as the Korean striploin, Lobster Thermidor, lamb cutlets, and seabass.

The price range for N. Grill lunch menu items is ₩50,000-90,000 (around ₱2,320-4,200 or $44-80). Their dinner menu items sell for around ₩95,000-133,000 (around ₱4,400-6,200 or $84-117).

Reservations at N.Grill restaurant is highly encouraged. To see the menu, operating hours, and contact number of this restaurant in N Seoul Tower, check out their listing here.

TOWER 4 & 5/F: Observation Deck, Gift Shop, N Photo Studio, Sky Restroom, etc.

When you’re on the 5/F of the N Seoul Tower, walk around the observation deck to see the city in full view. You will also spot a huge gift shop inside that sells shirts, souvenir items, phone cases, and more.

If you are looking to make your visit to N Seoul Tower more memorable, capture a photo at N Photo Studio or write a postcard for your loved ones (or yourself!).

When nature calls, go to the Tower 4/F. There you’ll probably have the best peeing experience of your life. LOL.

5/F & TOWER 1/F: Ticket booth, N Burger, Hello Kitty island, Olive Young, etc.

On the first two floors of N Seoul Tower, you will find the offline ticket booth, N Burger, Twosome Coffee, Olive Young, and some souvenir stores. If you’ll purchase your N Seoul Tower Observatory tickets online, you’re not advised to go to the ticket booths located outside the tower. Go straight inside and proceed to the area near the observatory entrance (photographed above). This is where you will find self-serve kiosks to exchange your voucher for your actual ticket or observatory admission pass.

If you get hungry during your visit, you can opt to have a bite at N Burger. They can be found on the first floor of N Seoul. N Burger is a casual restaurant that serves homemade American-style burgers. Their popular menu items include the Tower Burger, Nacho Cheese Burger, Chili Hotdog, Chicken & Beer set, Coconut Shrimp, and Chicken Tenders. N Burger’s price range is from ₩7,500-12,000 (around ₱350-560 or $6.6-10.6). N Burger is open from 10am-11pm.
